Equip Academy is a virtual learning series on eating disorders for the clinical community. Anyone is weclome to join an Equip Academy event, but we're currently only able to guarantee free Continuing Education credits to physicians (ACCME), and licensed psychologists (APA). Dietitians and other medical or mental health providers can request to obtain credit through, and at the discretion of, their licensing or credentialing organization
Slides will be available following completion of the evaluation at the end of each event.
Equip is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) and Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide CE/CME credits.
While many states/licensing boards accept these accreditations for for LPCs, LMFTs, RNs, etc., we can only guarantee CE/CME credits for psychologists and MDs/DOs.
It's up to each individual attendee to determine whether this activity meets the Continuing Education requirements of their licensing or credentialing organization. Please check your state’s rules and regulations for more information regarding your Continuing Education requirements. To learn more about eligibility and accreditations, see the Continuing Education Accreditation information below.
Zoom sent you an email after you registered for the event. In that email (or in your calendar, if you added to calendar) you can find your unique link to join via Zoom. Note that you need to be logged into Zoom to join, so we recommend creating a free account prior to the start time. Can’t find the email? Search the name of the event, and it’ll come up (and double check spam / trash folders).
A CE Certificate Request Form will be shared at the end of each webinar and will remain open for 7 days following the event date.
Please note that full attendance is required to be eligible APA CE credits. If you didn't attend in full and aren't an MD or DO, we are unable to provide you with a CE certificate.
Once we verify your attendance and completion of the CE Certificate Request Form, you will receive a CE certificate via email within 2-3 weeks of the event date from ce@equip.health.
