Equip’s five-person care teams include dietitians, physicians, therapists, and mentors who deliver wrap-around support to provide families healing and lasting recovery.

About the role:

The Director of Channel Sales role is a key position that will directly influence Equip’s revenue growth as we scale across the country and open new channels. The Director of Channel Sales is a new role on a new team that will work closely with the rest of the Commercial team and will independently create channel partnerships to activate referrals from Employers and Strategic Partners. This role will be an integral part of building the foundation for a long-term successful Partnership organization and lead the development and execution. We fully expect that this individual will be low-ego, eager to join a fast-paced company, hungry to learn, and able to work independently. The Director of Channel Sales will be given an exceptional level of autonomy and responsibility, but it is expected that this individual will “think like an owner” and commit themselves to Equip’s success.   • Identify, negotiate and implement strategic partnership opportunities
  • Build the universe of prospective partners; research and develop a deep understanding of the market
  • Develop and execute a prospecting strategy that sources new business opportunities through cold calling, client referrals, email and networking 
  • Develop partnership relationship concepts including scoping, contracting, program design and referral activation
  • Work with the Senior management to lead the negotiation of new and renewal contracts with partners
  • Use Salesforce to accurately track customer related contacts, activities, communication, feedback and market data 
  • Provide monthly pipeline forecast by stage, including risks and opportunities relative to budget and/or assigned goals 
  • Assist in sales and marketing activities as needed
  • Responsible for special projects as assigned
  • Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Proven channel sales experience
  • Experience working with benefit consulting firms, healthcare navigators, professional employer organizations and other channel partners to activate Employer referrals
  • Track record of over-achieving quota targets
  • Proven ability to communicate with partners at all levels within an organization both internally and externally
  • Poised with both clear, concise spoken and written communication styles
  • Character traits that include flexibility, resilience and being willing to adapt
  • Support of the broader Equip organization by promoting enthusiasm, positivity and high productivity in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment
