Equip is a virtual program helping families recover from eating disorders at home with comprehensive, gold-standard care created by experts in the field and people in recovery. Equip’s five-person care teams include dietitians, physicians, therapists, and mentors who deliver wrap-around support to provide families healing and lasting recovery.

About the role:

We are searching for a highly motivated and organized Director of Practice Management to oversee and execute the provider practice function at Equip. This position will provide direction, practice oversight, and organization to over 100 providers of various disciplines. The ideal candidate will have extensive health care experience and in-depth knowledge of practice management, throughput processes, practice optimization, pre-visit planning, and workflow management.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational leadership in practice operations at Equip

Create and oversee practice strategy related to business operations, productivity, staff-level performance, and onboarding of new providers

Oversee ancillary operations related to prescribing practices, lab services, and DME requisitions

Work directly with Patient Experience team to ensure that patient/family feedback is incorporated into daily operations

Responsible for direct management of Practice Coordinators, Records Coordinators, and other practice staff

Hold regular provider staff meetings to communicate policies, expectations, and receive feedback

Navigate and triage patient/family messages, coordinate medication refills, and communicate with patients/families on provider behalf when needed

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related field

10+ years of experience working as a Practice Manager in a clinic or hospital setting

Extensive experience in cross functional management with providers of varying specialities or disciplines

Track record of maximizing cash flow through optimizing processes and practices

Strong communicator with a high level of confidentiality

Ability and willingness to pivot to other potential tasks

Enthusiastic, strong team player a must
