Equip is a virtual program helping families recover from eating disorders at home with comprehensive, gold-standard care created by experts in the field and people in recovery. Equip’s five-person care teams include dietitians, physicians, therapists, and mentors who deliver wrap-around support to provide families healing and lasting recovery.

We created Equip to increase access to evidence-based treatment for all people affected by eating disorders. In this role, you will often be the first person to own all marketing efforts for Equip’s key secondary audience: providers and healthcare. Your core responsibility will be to lead all provider & strategic healthcare partnerships that drive patient inquiries and reinforce Equip as the leading provider of eating disorder treatment.

You will determine how we tell our brand story, mission, and the value we deliver across audiences of providers and B2B clients (insurance plans). The ideal candidate will leverage data, audience insights, and industry expertise to develop strategies and plans that drive our B2B business objectives – ultimately allowing more patients & families to come into Equip’s door to receive treatment that works.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute all marketing campaigns & content strategies for healthcare provider audience to drive patient inquiries through referrals
  • Become a subject matter expert in Equip’s treatment and translate our value propositions into a compelling story that addresses provider challenges, patient needs, and differentiate us from competitors
  • Partner with Engagement & Social Marketing Managers to ensure execution of provider-facing content to grow channel engagement
  • Maintain our provider-facing library of marketing messages, materials, research, and collateral 
  • Develop robust marketing (ie webinars, educational materials, collateral, etc) campaigns that establishes Equip as the expert amongst healthcare providers 
  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution: create campaign strategy, oversee creative production, set goals & measurement, build processes, deploy campaigns, optimize and report on performance
  • Identify and implement campaigns on new digital channels ie LinkedIn, Doximity with continuous

  • Healthcare & strategic partnerships
  • Spearhead all marketing activities for Equip’s annual conference roadmap across provider, healthcare trade, and patient audiences
  • Lead all conference activations including but not limited to speaking engagements, booth presence, sponsorships & webinars
  • Support partnerships with healthcare and startup partners with marketing campaigns based on strategic playbook
  • Manage data dashboards across all conferences tracking audience engagement and patient or provider inquiries to ensure we hit KPIs

  • Sales support
  • Support Equip Client (payor)
  • Strategy team with messaging, presentations, an materials for partnership growth with insurance plans 
  • Help power all marketing campaigns with insurance partners to increase member engagement
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a marketing role; startup experience preferred
  • Professional, self-motivated individual who has a strong instinct for building and fostering relationships with healthcare professionals through trust & goodwill 
  • Demonstrated understanding of healthcare professionals and organizations and strategic vision for how to nurture partnerships to drive patient acquisition
  • Natural instinct and self-starter mentality
  • A strong sense of ownership in your work and the company's health; high attention to detail and critically thought through solutions will yield the highest quality impact
  • A bias for experimentation and questioning of the status quo
